Boracay Island is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines for all nationalities. Both Filipinos and Foreigners use Boracay for an out of this world holiday, famous for its "powder-white sands and pristine blue waters," this resort stretches from the western coast to the eastern shoreline. Boracay Island belongs to the island-group of Western Visayas (Western part of Negros, Panay and many smaller islands).
The Island itself is not big enough for its own airport, so to get there you need to land at either Cataclan or Kalibo Airports on a neighbouring Island, then a short 20minute trip will ensure your arrival at Boracay. On arrival the 14km white sand beach is truly breath taking.
